As a committed therapist in the Chattanooga area, caring for your well-being and mental health is important to me. I look forward to guiding you through life’s challenges, out of those broken or stuck places, and into a renewed sense of purpose and meaning.
I was raised in Sarasota, Florida, left home to earn a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education, as well as a Master’s degree in Counseling, and spent over twenty years studying and working within the field of psychology. I am currently raising five sons in the Chattanooga area with my wife of twenty-two years.
My experience mainly draws on working with men and women both on individual and relationship issues.
I started out working in community mental health organizations in 2001 and have worked in faith-based organizations for the last eighteen years. For the last eight years I have been working at the Summit Counseling Center in Chattanooga. During this time I have learned to integrate the theoretical models of Emotionally Focused Therapy, as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, with the Christian faith for those clients who are seeking support in this area. I respect the spirituality of all individuals and do not push my values on anyone.
